Services

Mabeba Funeral Parlour is a business that provides a variety of services to families during the difficult time of a loved one’s passing. In addition to traditional funeral services, we also offer additional services such as tent hire, chairs, mobile toilets, mobile warmers and tables.

Burial Services

A burial service is a ceremony that is held following the death of an individual. The purpose of the service is to honor the life of the deceased and provide closure for the family and loved ones of the person who has died. The ceremony may take place at a funeral home, church, cemetery or other location, depending on the preferences of the family and the religious or cultural traditions of the community.

During the service, there may be speeches or tributes given by friends and family members, readings from religious texts, and music or singing. The casket, or other coffin holding the body, is typically present at the service and is often adorned with flowers. Following the service, the casket is interred in a grave. A graveside service is often held at the cemetery and this allows the family to say their final goodbyes and place flowers, mementos and prayers on the grave. It typically involves a committal service where the casket is buried and closed. This usually finalizes the burial process and gives a sense of closure for the families and friends of the deceased.

Cremation Services

A cremation service is a process of reducing the body of a deceased person to ashes through the use of high heat. The body is placed in a special chamber called a cremator and is exposed to temperatures of up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit, causing it to be reduced to ashes. The ashes are then collected and can be returned to the family of the deceased in an urn, or scattered in a place of their choosing. Cremation is an alternative to a traditional burial service, and allows for greater flexibility in terms of memorialization and final disposition of the remains. Some culture or religions have restrictions about cremation and that we take into consideration.

Exhumation Services

Exhumation is the process of digging up and removing human remains from a burial site for re-interment or examination. An exhumation service involves a team of professionals who are trained to handle human remains and ensure that the process is carried out with respect and dignity. This service may be requested for a variety of reasons, including to allow for the relocation of remains to a different cemetery, to resolve a legal dispute, or to perform an autopsy for investigation purposes.

Additional Services

Tent hire is a service that can provide families with a temporary shelter during a funeral service or visitation. This can be especially useful if the funeral service is being held outdoors or if the funeral home is unable to accommodate a large number of guests. Tents can also provide additional privacy and comfort for families during the service.

Chairs are another service that we provide. This can be especially helpful for large funeral services where a large number of guests are expected to attend.

Our mobile food station service is a convenient and practical way to provide food for the guests of a funeral. The mobile food station can be set up at the funeral home, at a church, or at a location of the family’s choosing. This service can provide a sense of comfort and support to the family during a difficult time, and can also help to ease the burden of organizing and providing food for the guests.

Mobile toilets are another service that our funeral parlour offers. This service can be especially useful for outdoor funeral services, where access to restrooms may be limited. We provide both standard and VIP toilets to accommodate the needs of all guests. Mobile toilets are a convenient way to ensure that guests have access to restrooms during the funeral service.

Lastly, tables are another service that we at Mabeba Funeral Parlour provide. This service can be useful for families who want to display photographs, or other mementos of their loved one during the visitation or funeral service and can also be implemented as food serving stations.
